Starkfield Winter Color Palette

I feel like Ethan Frome, stuck in a Starkfield Winter which is just regret and sadness but there's a light that is burning bright and happy and warm and it's thawing and melting at my heart but it's far away and unattainable, out of reach. I can't get to it for so many reasons, but I yearn to let the light envelope me with its strong arms; I can never manage to touch more than its fingers, and I cherish that greatly, but it's not enough and I'm afraid it never will be.
